3 ay önceWonderful castle. It’s hard to go inside but ideal for extremalists. Built in X century by Davit III Kourapalates of tao. In 1001-1021 castle was contested by byzantines and georgians. Eventually Davit IV the builder took until ottomans conquered in late XV-XVI cc. Oltisi was castle city, surrounded by 500 houses, inside upper castle there is ruins of monastery which is hard to distinguish.
