I had at most fun painting these tiles. Acia the master, the professional -helped me and gave me tips on techniques of painting and Mustafa kept me company with his knowledge on various topics. Everyone in the shop are very helpful.Overall a great place to be in, highly recommend this place for an immersive experience on Iznik art

We spent an entire day searching Istanbul for a place where my youngest could try her hand at traditional pottery, but we had no luck until we stumbled upon Testi Quartz. Even though we didn't have an appointment, the owners were incredibly hospitable and kind enough to open their doors for a spontaneous workshop. Seeing my two daughters create pottery the traditional Iznik way was the highlight of our trip! The atelier itself is filled with mesmerizing art. A huge thank you to the wonderful owners for making our day so special!

@testiquartz was an amazing shop to visit and it was part of the private tour. The staff are professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They also make one of the best Turkish coffees and serve it in their precious stoneware.???? They also educated me about the history of Turkish pottery and showed me a vase making demo. I understand why nomadic people were collectors of many treasures as they were globetrotting. I saw some pieces at this beautiful shop that I am interested in, of course. This is why the palaces have many artifacts. Like, I get it and I'm that kind of person too. ????????????????????????????

I had an amazing experience. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and professional in their work. I did the ceramic painting with a master. You can buy some great artwork at the end! The people will teach you about the different techniques and give you information about how this art is produced. Thank you very much for this experience!

The craftsmen & women of TESTI make absolutely beautiful products (we purchased a couple!) in this family run workshop, but what especially stood out for me was the authenticity and incredibly generous customer service (including when one of our unique bowls was unfortunately broken Siddik very generously crafted a brand new one in the same style and shipped it to us). Amazing products and great people. Highly recommended!

We received our pottery two weeks after purchase and unfortunately it was damaged. After few emails with Siddik Dal our second pottery was sent and arrived in great shape. They did outstanding job in replacing our item. This company went beyond to make sure we were happy. Great people!

We had a wonderful experience with Testi Quartz! I got to try my hand at making a small bowl. What a fun experience! We purchased a beautiful 35” round platter to add to our home. Such a wonderful reminder of our time in Istanbul. We also purchased olive oil holders and small bowls as souvenirs for our adult children. They love them! Everything was shipped to our home in the US and arrived perfect! Thank you Testi Quartz!

We ordered 2 large wall plates custom designed to hang in our beach house in Robe South Australia, as promised they continued to keep improving the design until we achieved what we were after. They then packaged and shipped to Australia, arriving in perfect condition. I highly recommend this great business

Interesting experience. 20 USD per person for making clay dishes. You can take dishes after excursion or any of next days. days. 50 and 70 USD per person for making clay + painting. Good place, great master.

A treasure trove of ceramics and art! We visited as part of our tour and their workshops at the basement. We had an opportunity to participate in their pottery workshop which was amazing. The Turkish tulip (I thought they were Pomegranate flowers) and Pomegranate designs left us speechless. I did end up buying kitchen sets and a framed tile picture. Their tile embedded jewellery and handbags were also unique. Very friendly and welcoming staff and we were made to feel very much at home. Highly recommend.

The pottery making experience that my girlfriend and I had at TESTI was beautiful. it started with an explanation by Yilmaz of how ceramics are created, and a welcome drink by ub the. In the meantime his cousin Asia, who is a master of this art, gave us a demonstration of how a vase is made. Then it was our turn to make a work, which thanks to her help came out well. I recommend it to everyone, it is a different experience to do in Istanbul, and it definitely enriched my trip.

All staff at Testi Quartz made me and my daughter feel welcomed. The artist patiently supported us through our workshop painting tiles in the traditional Turkish way. The studio is pleasant and the display of ceramic art to purchase are stunning and well priced for the skill of the artist
