I’ve been to Tatuza Jazz Bar several times, and I really enjoy it. The atmosphere is exactly my style — a bit dark, cozy, with great jazz music and good people around. The most important thing for me is the music, and that’s where Tatuza really shines. It all depends on who is playing and the specific event. Some nights are perfect for having an amazing, lively time, and other nights are more calm, where you just sit, listen, and truly enjoy the music. Both types of evenings have their own charm. We also spent New Year’s Eve there. I honestly expected a bit more celebration and joy for that night, but it turned out to be a calmer evening than anticipated. Still, it was pleasant in its own way. Overall, it’s a great place for jazz lovers and people who appreciate a relaxed, authentic atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

Music’s good. The food is pretty meh, and we’ve tried 4 dishes. The service was mostly ok, though you could hear the kitchen talk during the show which was weird. I’ve been at 15+ Jazz clubs and have never struggled with so much noise in a club, at least not coming from staff members. I didn’t really enjoy myself because of that and some people talking non-stop at full volume both times I went there, but that’s outside of the club’s control. What was very upsetting is that for some reason the waitress decided to come up to only our table at 11:58pm exactly to ask what we would be paying with (we didn’t ask for the bill), and then immediately come back as soon as my friend SILENTLY pulled out birthday cupcake at 12AM with a candle in it (which they approved her to do minutes prior). As I started silently signing to my friend a thank you trying to have a private moment the waitress interrupted me mid-“sentence” TWICE, one of these interruptions was to ask for a tip (which I now regret leaving), all while I was trying to quickly make a wish and blow out the candle. The whole thing took literally under 1 minute AND was in silence. The bill was not that freaking urgent to be asking about it 3 times within the 1-2 minutes the candle was lit. No other table was paying at the time either. Interrupting us at this time felt VERY deliberate and intentional (peek the time of the charge on the screenshot if you think I’m exaggerating). Wouldn’t recommend celebrating your 30th here, unless you plan for your evening to be upsetting and overwhelming :)

The worst place I’ve ever visited. Bad service. It’s written on a ticket that show will begin at 20:30,but!!!! You should wait til 22:00… The rules of this place…

Yesterday we visited Tatuza Jazz Club to celebrate my birthday. First of all, I’d like to highlight the interior, atmosphere and service. Everything is at a very high level. The musicians are incredibly talented, and it was a real pleasure to listen to them. Overall, the evening felt beautiful and memorable. Unfortunately, the kitchen was a major disappointment. We ordered beef rolls, and both in appearance and taste they felt like the cheapest frozen meat pancakes from a supermarket, simply reheated in a pan. It was genuinely unpleasant. We also ordered French fries. They were very basic, nothing special. We decided to give the kitchen a second chance and ordered mini burgers. We waited about 40 minutes, and they were served almost at closing time. Sadly, the wait was not worth it. The burgers were simply not good, among the worst we’ve ever tried. We paid around 150 GEL for the evening, and for that price you naturally expect at least decent food. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I would really like to address the team. Please take a serious look at the kitchen. The place has huge potential. A stunning interior, a great atmosphere and excellent music. It would be wonderful if the food matched that level. We hope the team sees this feedback and takes action. Overall, the evening was good, but the food experience sadly fell far below expectations:(
