Lake Salda, once hailed as "Turkey's Maldives" and a cosmic twin to Mars' Jezero Crater, is now a heartbreaking testament to the fragility of nature against relentless, profit-driven development, a tragedy that pierces the soul. We remember the pristine, unreal turquoise waters and the sacred, living white sands—a globally unique wonder formed over millennia—only to witness its violation by the very authorities who swore to protect it, with heavy construction vehicles desecrating the forbidden shores and turning the sublime tranquility into muddy, commercial chaos under the guise of a misguided "Nation's Garden." The cries of environmentalists and locals, warning that this closed basin is "drowning in pollution" and that the moving of its unique sands is akin to "wounds opened in the body of a living creature," ring with a desperate sadness, proving that no amount of rhetoric can conceal the destruction of such a sublime, irreplaceable gem.

Przepiękne miejsce, błękitna woda z bielutkim piaskiem. Teren jest chroniony, ale są wytypowane polarze, gdzie można skorzystać z dobroczynnych składników wody i wykąpać się. Jezioro jest kraterowe w najgłębszym miejscu ma nawet 200m głębokości. Otoczenie gór dodaje uroku temu miejscu. To tzw. tureckie Malediwy, zgadzam się. Tutaj jest pięknie i wyjątkowo i niewielu turystów w październiku, spokój, cisza tylko ptaszki śpiewają.
