Fırsatçı bir Bodrum işletmesi daha… 12 mayıs tarihinde araç kiralama ihtiyacım dolayısıyla ilgili firma ile iletişime geçtim. Bodrum’da yaşadığımı, başlangıç olarak 2 haftalık kiralayacağımı sonrasında uzatma da talep edebileceğim bilgisini verdim. Şube çalışanlarından Marziye hanım gayet ilgili ve güler yüzlü bir şekilde yardımcı olup aracımı teslim etti. Her hafta eklendikçe, yani toplam kiralamam arttıkça günlük ücretin de ona göre düşeceği bilgisini verdi (ki mantıklı olan da bu olmalı elbette) 2 hafta bitiminde 1 hafta daha uzattım ve evet bir tık daha makul bir rakam oldu günlük rakam. Akabinde 2 hafta daha uzatmak istediğimi söyleyen mesajıma sadece bir ekran görüntüsü atarak “onaylıyor musunuz” yazılı bir mesajla dönüş yapıldı. Anlayamadığımı yazdım, çünkü rakam yüksekti. Sezon geliyor olduğu için şirket politikası çerçevesinde durum buymuş. Hatta hemen üstüne de gayet kaba bir adam tarafından arandım ve 100₺ bile indirim yapılmayacağını, beğenmiyorsam aracı getirmem gerektiği söylendi. Ne bir merhaba, ne makul bir ses tonu.. Gayet üstten ve umursamazca bir tavır!! Aracı o an yeni kiralıyor olsam anlayabilirim bu durumu ancak zaten 3 haftadır bende olan araca bu rakamı vermiş olmalarını kabul etmek istemedim. Çünkü bu tamamen fırsatçılıktır! Güzelim Bodrum sizin gibi işletmeler yüzünden bu hale geldi!! Ve sizlere direnmeye devam edeceğiz!! Tabii ki de götürüp iade ettim aracı.

I recently attempted to rent a car from Bodrum to Dalaman with Rent Go. Despite their website advertising a specific price, I contacted them via WhatsApp to confirm. They assured me there were no hidden fees. Upon arrival, I presented the same price confirmation, but they increased the price, claiming it included full insurance. While I agreed to this, I was only informed of a one-way fee of 7,000 lira to Dalaman after I mentioned my return location for the third time and after they charged me already. This fee was significantly higher than those charged by other rental companies in the area. (We rented a car from another company after, with only 1,399 lira one way fee). When I confronted them with the WhatsApp confirmation, they said it was a mistake and cancelled the booking. However, this incident caused me significant inconvenience, including 2 hours of wasted time and additional fees due to currency exchange by banks. I believe Rent Go engaged in false advertising by omitting the one-way fee from their initial pricing. Their failure to honour their own mistake is also concerning.
