I had an excellent experience with Omar at Nomad rugs. He was patient, shared wonderful stories of his life and had a great selection of beautiful kilims and carpets. I found a great piece to take back to Australia. This is where you want to buy a carpet from when you come to Turkey, it's worth a trip to Kayseri

Nous avons rencontré Enver dans une mosquée, abimé en prière. Il nous a pris sous son aile et nous a montré la ville, puis son magasin, ou nous avons appris toute sortes de choses sur la turquie et le tapis. Les siens d’ailleurs sont particulièrement travaillés et qualitatifs. Enver nous a fait part de sa vision du tourisme, une vision pure et bienveillante, qu’il met en pratique en affichant un prix unique plus qu’honnête .. et sans arnaque! Nous sommes rentrés chez nous avec des pièces de bonne qualité à offrir à la famille. Une super expérience !

Nomad's Art ist ein netter kleiner seriöser Laden. Wir sind gut beraten worden und haben bei Cay in einer entspannten Atmosphäre, sehr hübsche Kissen zu einem.guten Preis erworben. Wir können Nomad's Art weiterempfehlen.

Ein wirklich schönes kleines Geschäft direkt am Eingang auf der linken Seite. Enver Kaya hat mir die unterschiedlichen Fertigungsmethoden erklärt und entsprechende Teppiche gezeigt. Zusätzlich gab es noch einen leckeren Tee für mich. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, besonders wenn man einen besonderen Teppich sucht und sich auf Deutsch beraten lassen möchte.

Had a very good experience picking out a beautiful antique Turkish kilim with shop owner Ömer. He is very knowledgeable friendly and easy to talk to. Made the experience very pleasant for myself and my friend. The rugs he has are genuine handmade beautiful pieces of art that would make any home that much more beautiful. Highly highly recommend!

Beautiful rugs and kind shopkeepers. They have a variety of different rugs, blankets and pillow cases from both local nomadic communities and a few other places across the world. They are all handmade and some of them are decades old. The owners are very friendly and will share stories from their travels.

Nomads art ist eine sehr empfehlenswerte Adresse für lokale Teppichkunst auf dem Basar in Kayseri! Ömer und Enver sind sehr kompetente und freundliche Inhaber, die uns viel über die verschiedenen Produkte erklären konnten und mit denen wir sehr interessante Gespräche beim gemeinsamen Çai hatten. Es lohnt sich definitiv dort vorbeizuschauen und ein bisschen Zeit im Laden zu verbringen

I can absolutely recommend this shop! The products they sell are of high quality and the owners have a lot of knowledge about the carpets and the production. Moreover they are extremely welcoming and friendly people. We had Çay together and really nice conversations, absolutely worth to pass by during a stay in Kayseri!

We cannot speak highly enough of Nomads Art Carpet Shop on Kayseri, Turkiye! We heard all of the legends about Turkish carpets and researched how to identify legitimate hand-woven turkish kilims and carpets. You don't need to research that when you meet Nomad's Art Carpet shop! Owned by 2 friendly men, Enver and Ömer, the shop is run with 100% integrity. You'll be kindly greeted in the bazaar, treated to tea, and offered a back story of the village origin and symbolism behind every piece in the shop. I think Enver reviewed close to 40 items with us! He identified the style we were looking for and size - we had no idea that we would stumble across Turkiye's best Carpet Shop! Truthfully, we had planned to purchase a carpet in Istanbul, our final stop in TR. We thought "there will be more options and we can barter more in Istanbul!" We visited Kayseri on our way to Goreme and met the Nomad men. We honestly hardly saw a need to barter - their selection was clearly hand-made and quality, with stunningly reasonable prices! They'll expertly fold your Carpet and package it for you to go home with or ship to your home. We planned our trip to come home with 1 Turkish woven Carpet, unsure if we could afford the real deal and if we would need to settle for a machine-made one. We came out of Nomad's Art with 2 beautiful Kilims small enough for us to fly home ourself! I have and will continue to recommend Nomad's Art to everyone I meet desiring a piece of art, beauty and culture.
