My wife lost her wedding ring over the weekend in the yard and was devastated. A friend let us borrow a Nokta Double Score2 metal detector and small wand pointer. I do not know anything about metal detecting but even as a rookie after I figured out that it buzzes for nails and other metal but actually beeps loud for gold and other metals.. I went and probed the front yard and found it in less than 10 minutes right out front in the grass under some dirt!! Simple to use and though I hope not to need one again for this purpose I would highly recommend it!
