Dal cartello che indica l’inizio della via Licia bisogna percorre un tratto sulla strada asfaltata finché non si raggiunge a un bivio; a questo punto bisogna andare a sinistra sulla strada sterrata. Noi abbiamo percorso un tratto abbastanza breve fino al punto panoramico (foto con la cornice arancione) perché poi la strada diventata meno accessibile. Comunque vale la pena per avere una bella vista sulla spiaggia di oludeniz.

Do not be fooled if you are expecting water from here. It most certainly is not a Water Stand with fresh water. As per the photograph, it is a concrete bunker over a well. You lift the round metal cover off and pull a bucket up that is attached to a rope. The bucket is laid in a well which when I was there was approx 10ft down on rocks. To drink that water you would need a water filtration system and some chlorine tablets as it was dirty brown rank looking water. There are however cafes further south on the lycian trail towards Kozagac. I walked so far along the Lycian trail which is really easy to follow from ovacik. Just before Kozagac, I then peeled off left uphill and followed the green dot trail upto the summit of Babadag. DO NOT attempt this route without a good GPS as it is extremely hard to route find at times, as the green dots are either worn out faded or covered over. It is very steep and thick with prickly gorse type bushes. A GPS IS A MUST for the green dot trail, the Lycian Way however is very easy to follow and a really nice trail.
