Leila Mansion

As many others have said, this is a little gem of a hotel in a historic building right on the main square in Tekirdag. Decor evokes old-times without being overly fussy, staff are super friendly and there's excellent barista coffee available in the ground floor cafe if you don't want to use the Nespresso machine in your room. Parking can be very tough in this part of town but kind staff saved me a space. Only small niggles were that the wifi is very weak if you're on the 3rd floor. Also I don't like perfume and wish the cleaners hadn't 'freshened up' the room with such a strong-smelling product - but that's subjective taste I suppose. All in all this place is a brilliant discovery and English-speaking Berkant is a philosopher as well as a fine barista.
