The service was unprofessional. After we finished our first drinks, the waiter asked if we wanted to order more. My wife ordered an espresso with a shot of whiskey, and I ordered a straight espresso. Then he suddenly told me the coffee wasn’t available. What made it unprofessional was that he didn’t explain anything beforehand, didn’t offer any alternatives, and didn’t apologize. Even if a customer asks for something unavailable, a professional server should politely explain the situation and suggest options, instead of leaving guests frustrated.
