Overall, I feel comfortable recommending this service/business. I am from the United States, so there may be some things I may not be used to or others that were lost in translation since I only speak English and needed to use Google Translate. I want to be as fair as possible, so here are my pros and cons: PROS: 1. The guy I dealt with was very nice. 2. He drove the car to us, and dropped us back off at the Turkish border afterwards. 3. The price was very reasonable. 4. The car had no issues and had great air conditioning. CONS: 1. The car was given to us with only 1/4 gas tank 2. We ended the rental with 3/4 gas tank and at the end, the guy would not refund us for the $35 (1400 lira) of extra gas in the car. This is where my unfamiliarity with Turkish culture or business may come in. Every time I’ve rented a car, it always comes with a full tank of gas, and then I return it with a full tank of gas. That way, it’s very easy to give the car back with the extra same amount of gas you got it with. In this case, the guy expected me to be able to perfectly predict the gas usage (km driven, fuel efficiency, gas tank size, etc) or give him free gas. Here’s my suggestion: fill up the car to full, always give the customer a full tank, and require that the customer returns the car with a full tank. If the customer does not return the car with a full tank, fill the tank with some of the deposit money and add a small additional convenience fee. This way it’s much easier for the customer and business. I was going to give 2 or 3 stars since we only rented the car for 7 hours and the manual car cost $75 for the day, so a $35 gas fee, increases the cost to me by 50%, which is a lot. However, I wanted to be as nice as I could. If you’re renting, just know this. And perhaps ask to have your car filled to fill before you agree to rent.
