I’ve been to Hadarat Yemeni Restaurant about three times so far, usually around once a year. Most of the time I come here because someone invites me, but every visit has been a good experience. If you enjoy Arabic or Middle Eastern food, this place is definitely worth trying. The dishes are flavorful and satisfying, and the portions are quite generous. The food tastes authentic and comforting, especially if you like rich spices and traditional Yemeni-style rice and meat dishes. One thing that really stands out here is the fresh juice. Honestly, the juice is incredibly good. It’s very fresh, refreshing, and pairs perfectly with the food. Definitely something I recommend ordering when you visit. The restaurant also offers two types of seating. You can sit at regular tables and chairs, or choose the traditional floor seating (lesehan style), which adds a more authentic Middle Eastern dining experience. The atmosphere is lively, and when the restaurant gets busy it can feel quite full, which usually says a lot about how popular the place is. Even when it’s crowded, the vibe is still enjoyable. Overall, based on my visits so far, I would recommend this restaurant, especially for anyone who loves Arabic cuisine and wants a nice place to enjoy it in Istanbul.

The restaurant serves very delicious Yemeni food. We tried several dishes such as Fahsa, soup, Areeka, and half a chicken with rice, and the flavors were strong and pronounced. The portions were large and filling, but the food tended to be quite rich and spicy, which might not be for everyone. The prices were as stated on the bill and reasonable for the amount of food served. The place is generally good, but we noticed a slight odor in the air, perhaps due to the cooking. Despite this, it was a lovely experience, and I recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Yemeni cuisine.
محمد وحسام المصريين التوب احلى سرفس في المطعم والاكل ما شاء الله
I grew up in Aden, Southern Arabia and Hadramot cusine, like tawa bread and fish, and rice dishes reminescent of Hydar Abadi Indian fares is an integral part of my Adenese food memory. So, i thought I try some here. I remember having a good mandi dish at this very restaurant in July'21 but i was too busy being a tourist to write a review about this visit. This time, I went back hoping for an equally good dinning experience. I went to visit the restaurant on January 14th, i believe, and ordered a Salmon fish, rice and red sauce to complement the rice. The sauce was a watery red discharge with mixed vegetables that looked, very much, as if it was poured straight from a can. The salmon was a thinly morsel that looked like the content of a can as well. The rice was the only thing I could name as true to it's name. It was an experience no patron could enjoy and no restaurant should repeat. I look forward to revisit this place and i hope they can redeem themselves and do better next time.
