Golden Horn Terrace Restaurant

A good place with relatively high European prices. But in comparison with other old town Istanbul restaurants there is a good service and good atmosphere. And the city view costs some extra. In January when the city and the restaurants are now crowded and the terrace is closed because its chilly outside, I could relax, have a tea, have a relaxed dinner and answer the emails with bossanova playing in the background. I have not given the fish the high price, and the owner offered me to try another fish dish just for free. Thats a nice experience.

Amazing place! Great atmosphere, delicious food, and very attentive service. It’s rare to find a restaurant where both the view and the food are truly excellent. Had a wonderful time, highly recommend ????????

Wonderful restaurant with beautiful views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Delicious traditional Turkish food. Oktay gave us extraordinary service. Highly recommended. We will be back.

Lamb chops were amazing, service was the best, Oktay took care of us great and treated us soo good. Will be back when in Turkey again

Manzara tek başına yetmiyor, burası onu kaliteyle tamamlıyor. Yemekler lezzetli, sunumlar özenli ve her şey yerli yerinde. Hizmet hızlı ama asla yapay değil; çalışanlar ne yaptığını biliyor. Atmosfer ise İstanbul’un ruhunu gerçekten hissettiriyor. Gelip “eh işte” demiyorsun, net şekilde memnun ayrılıyorsun. Yolum düştüğünde tekrar tercih edeceğim nadir mekanlardan.
