This is an honest review from A U.S. citizen. I was visiting Istanbul, Turkey in December 2025. I needed a rent a car to not just tour the city but tour surrounding cities as well. I specifically needed an automatic car and not a manual (although I do drive manuals in the U.S., I prefer not to do so in any country I am new to visiting). I reached out to this company via their WhatsApp account. I introduced myself and provided the details on the type of car I was looking for and inquired if I could make a reservation. I received a response back within 24 hours hence the two star rating. But the person who respond replied. There is no need to do a reservation ???? ????. Why? So when I arrive from my flight the price will change from what you told me via WhatApp? ???? . Then he switched later on and stated that he could make a reservation. Which one is it? The total price I found to be a little on the expensive side and inflated which I think is a tourist trap in all honesty. I didn’t appreciate this. I don’t think my fellow travelers looking to rent a car would appreciate this as well. Here are the following details: As custom from my prior travels, you pay full price when you pick up the vehicle. The price I was quoted for an automatic transmission vehicle for eleven days is $23,000 TL (Around $539.00 USD). There was a deposit of 8000 TL. (Around $187.81) When you return the car, the highway fee is deducted. 5000 TL ( Around $117.38 USD) is returned. The remaining 3000 TL ( Around $70.43 USD) is paid back to you as the customer after 30 days and that’s if you don’t have any highway or toll fees. Turkey, traffic fines are determined within 30 days but you will be unsure who determines what you owe. Is this a true highway penalty charge with picture evidence of your exact rental car while in your possession stamped with time / date or a made up invoice? Who knows. Then, if I want to be picked up to get the car rental and dropped back off at the airport after I return the car rental because this location is not within the IST airport itself about a 10-13 min ride away. The following details included: to deliver (pick up) to the IST airport, there is an extra fee of $1,000 TL There is also a $1,000 TL fee to return fee. (Around $23.48 per trip/ total: $46.96) Also if I want to pay with a credit card which most travelers prefer instead of walking around with cash, as a customer there is an additional bank commission of three percent (3%). So grand total around $796.98????. Because I am a cost effective traveler, I decided to decline wanting to rent here. At least give me a courtesy shuttle to and from the IST airport. After all I am brining my business to you!!! Wishing fellow travelers all the best if deciding to go with this car rental agency.
